My Auntie J… your door was always open. We all knew we were welcomed whether it was Tuart hill days, the caravan at Busso or on the hill at Halls Head, and then down on the Canal. We learnt how to make a good cup of tea, Milo Slice, how to lose at cards, and that there’d always be cheesecakes for our special events! The sewing, the knitting! 🧶 I’ll miss our chats, watching the dolphins and your smile with the great grandies at your feet. I’ll keep my promise, the passing of the sisterhood down the generations. We’ll miss you at the wedding and I’ll give my granddaughter a big hug from you when she arrives. Love always Jen, Steve, Olivia and Georgia ❤️

You were and still are amazing and I could not have wished for a better Mum. I loved the way you would tease Miss Daisy and make her and all your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren feel equally special and loved. I am already missing our daily wongi where we would solve the problems of the world over a cuppa while dunking a bickie or a chat over the phone. I couldn't put a thing past you, and we are all so very lucky you were mentally as sharp as a tack right until your last couple of days. There was hardly a day went by when we didn't talk to each other which I miss immensely and I now have a huge void in my daily life. Your wit and sense of humor is sadly missed where we would have a good laugh at each other's expense. Our chats would nearly always revolve around family, friends, sport and politics. I keep thinking I haven't spoken to Mum today, or something happens and think "I must call Mum to tell her". Whenever I had a dilemma, I used to always think "What would Chisel do or say?", now I will think "what would Chiz or Mum do or say?" Like Dad, I will think of you with fondness and respect forever.
