Veronica Mary Armstrong

Veronica, you will be sadly missed. I first met you in 1971 when I worked with you at Customs. We forged a great friendship that continued over the years. I was your bridesmaid, you were mine. We had our children very close together. Although eventually separated by distance, we would converse on the telephone for hours and would visit when possible.May you rest in peace!

Veronica, a much-loved resident who became part of our home and part of our extended family. Veronica’s time with us was valued deeply. She was known by those who cared for her not only as a resident, but as a person with her own story, her own character, and her own place within our community. Each day, in small and meaningful ways, she left an impression on the people around her. In our care, Veronica was treated with dignity, kindness and respect, and it was our privilege to support her. Those who spent time with her will remember the moments shared, the conversations had, and the presence she brought into our lives. We extend our heartfelt condolences to all who are grieving her loss. We hope there is comfort in knowing that she was cared for, respected and remembered with warmth. Veronica you were a force to be reckoned with, I used to enjoy our discussions over our nails and when I could paint them or not. I will always remember our evening cup of tea we shared before I left the facility. You would only allow me to come and get you into the shower as you did not want anyone else. Thank you for trusting me with your care. You are missed And always will be. Rest in Peace
